Memorabilia can be hard to declutter, even when you really want to let go. That's because memorabilia is emotionally charged. But guess what? We're the ones who created that connection. While I wouldn't call that connection artificial, I would call it manufactured. We assign value based on how an item played a role in our experience. But we need to remember that the object doesn't hold the memory of that experience, the memory lives within us. We can choose to devalue and let go of anything that isn't serving us well. It's our right.
